- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Tech-Etch, Inc., CAGE: 52814, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Establishing an alternative source would result in not only duplication of costs to the Government, which is not expected to be recovered through competition, but would also require unacceptable delays in meeting current requirements. This procurement is for 830 each, Forward End Cover Diagonal Breakwire with Electroless Nickle Immersion Gold (ENIG), P/N 8407282-9. This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code 334419. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Inspection and Acceptance will be at destination (NSWC PHD). Contract award is expected on a FOB destination basis. This will be a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
