- THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE - A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT 23 OCTOBER 2015 Auxiliary Roman Catholic Priest Services - Joint Base San Antonio, Texas The 502d Contracting Squadron has a requirement for Auxiliary Roman Catholic Priest at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing religious support services within JBSA area of responsibility which includes Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland, (JBSA-LAFB), Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston (JBSA-FSH), Joint Base San Antonio - Randolph (JBSA-RAFB), and Camp Bullis, Texas. The NAICS code for this procurement is 813110 with a small business size standard of $7.5M. This requirement will be 100% Small Business set-aside. In order to apply for this requirement, a Roman Catholic Priest must have the endorsement of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). It is the policy of the AMS to grant endorsements only to those priests who will be contracting directly with the contracting office of a military installation. The AMS will not endorse a priest who is subcontracted by a third-party contractor who in fact holds the contract. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing to obtain an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the FBO website. Note: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
