- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 11, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, intends to solicit offers for thirty four (34) hemodialysis machines to be delivered FOB Destination to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 2601 Cold Springs Road, building 5, Indianapolis, IN 46222. The successful offeror will also provide a trade in credit, take possession, and properly dispose of 34 ea. B Braun Dialog+ hemodialysis machines and provide both clinical and biomedical engineering training on site, Indianapolis, IN for the new machines. This is a full and open competition procurement that will be conducted using FAR part 13.5 procedures. NAICS code: 334510. The basis of award will be LPTA. The solicitation will be made available on or about 9/11/2015. The requirements being solicited will be required to meet the following requirements: EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Dialysis Machines: Contractor shall provide dialysis machines with the following salient characteristics: "Ability to be utilized with pre-mixed bicarb cartridge "Units shall have capability to interface with the VA's VistA system through the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) "Ability to automatically associate patient treatment to CPRS via a unique identifier (i.e.- patient card reader) "Units shall have a high-resolution touch screen within the machine for ease of clinical use/workflow "Have software capability option of pre-installed profiles for patient use "Offers the capability to automatically turn on and off during disinfection procedure "Capability to continuously measure treatment adequacy (i.e.- KT/V, URR ) "Each machine shall come with 30 days disposable supplies for full compliance with operation and cleaning of said machines per manufacturer's guidelines, optional steps included (with machines working at full capacity for 8 hours per day). Additionally, A complete listing of the disposable supplies and their pricing shall be provided. "Only new products will be acceptable, no re-furbished/rebuilt or used products are acceptable.
