- Description
- The U.S. Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Finance Staff, has a requirement to enter into a sole source purchase order with Deborah Allen, 9257 Curtis Drive, Columbia MD 21045 for a base year and 2 one-year option periods. The authority permitting soliciting only one source is based on FAR 13.106-1. The Finance Staff's legacy software product is in the process of being transitioned to a new software platform. Ms. Allen has a particular expertise and knowledge of the legacy system which allows her to perform certain functions in the legacy system in preparation for the new software platform. Ms. Allen's services will be required an as-needed basis during the transition. This sole source notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. However, responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement by September 18, 2014, noon ET, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail to michele.b.spencer@usdoj.gov. A determination to not compete the purchase order based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
