Description
NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This is a market survey for the replacement of windows in two Hypobaric Chambers in accordance with OSHA Requirements. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Environmental Tectonics Corporation (ETC), South Hampton, PA,; on a single source basis as ETC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the two Hypobaric Chambers and retains the proprietary rights to the original design and technical data of the chambers. ETC is the only known source by which these assets can be procured. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price type purchase order will be used to purchase window replacement. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Therefore any cost associated with a market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the window replacement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort: NAICS Size Standards 339113 500 Employees The Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, parts, software/hardware/firmware, expendable and consumable items, and other technical and administrative support as necessary to provide the window replacement. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors in accordance with the attached documents herein: Interested vendors must have access to the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) repair manuals, specifications, and drawings. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from the OEM. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA. All responses to this market survey must be received by 2:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
