- Description
- The U.S. Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Finance Staff, has a requirement to enter into a sole source purchase order with James B. Saunders Jr., 4903 Taney Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304 for a base year and 1 one-year option period. The authority permitting soliciting only one source is based on FAR 13.106-1. The Finance Staff's legacy software product is being transitioned to a new software platform. Mr. Saunders has a particular expertise and knowledge of the legacy system which allows him to perform certain functions in the legacy system during the transition to the new software platform. Mr. Saunders services will be required an as-needed basis during the transition. This sole source notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. However, responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement by September 18, 2014, noon ET, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail to michele.b.spencer@usdoj.gov. A determination to compete the purchase order based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
