- Question: The Q & A indicates that there are only 2 compactors that are part of this solicitation. Additionally, the Q & A states that 1 compactor in this solicitation is Government Owned. However, the RFQ contradicts this in Item 7, page 6, where it states that the Contractor must provide all the equipment in the table. Based on my experience, the Q&A will supersede in the case of conflict between documents. Thus, my pricing will include furnishing only 1 compactor to the Memphis VAMC, and assume the 2nd compactor is Government Owned. Please let me know if this assumption is not correct. Responses to your RFQ will be understated if the government is expecting 2 compactors to be furnished. Compactors of this size are very expensive pieces of equipment. Response: It will be to provide (1) compactor. The Government owns the other. PLEASE NOTE: No further questions will be addressed via email or telephonic.
