- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. a. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government will use this information to assist in determining the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice with applicable small business status to the identified NAICS code. 2. Program Details a. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the 417th Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS), DLA Aviation and the Enterprise Hill Commodity Council (EHCC) is seeking sources for the follow-on to the competitive multi-year Landing Gear Prime Vendor Contract (LGPVC). This initiative would support many of the same NSNs on the current LGPVC as well as a presently undetermined number of additional competitive landing gear NSNs. 3. Other a. Interested parties are asked to submit an e-mail response to the listed point of contact expressing their interest in becoming a prime integrator or subcontractor. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or an announcement of a solicitation. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary and will not affect any party's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to identify potential sources. Any requests for a solicitation package will be disregarded. b. Interested parties have the ability and are encouraged to provide feedback on the LGPVC-II Market Research RFI posted 8 July 2015 on FBO.
