- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City office intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Insite Pacific Inc. to upgrade two (2) camera heads for the Zeus Plus camera for the NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Research located in North Kingstown, RI. A Sources Sought notice was posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on July 17, 2015 and closed on July 24, 2015. No responses were received. Justification for Sole Source The camera upgrade being purchased is manufactured solely by Insite Pacific Inc. located in Solana Beach, CA and is the only source of this camera upgrade due to the proprietary nature of this product.
