Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6-streamlined procedures for commercial items, in conjunction with FAR subpart 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. Only qualified offerors may submit offers. Solicitation VA-249-15-Q-0774 is issued as a Request for quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code is 339113 and size standard is 500. Any firm that does not meet the capability and size standard under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price award. The bases of award will be Lowest Price Quote. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government. In order to be considered for a government award, the firm must be registered in SAM @ www.sam.gov and be capable of providing all services required to successfully complete laboratory reference tests listed in the attached statement of work. The offeror shall provide sufficient evidence that they possess adequate resources, capability, experience, responsibility and integrity to meet the technical capabilities to comply with the requirements of the resulting contract. Requirements The Lexington VA Medical Center Research and Development Office require a CO2 O2 incubator. 2. Scope. This is a one-time purchase of one (1) CO2 O2 Incubator. 3. Characteristics A. Must be able to adjust the level of O2 down to 5% to create a hypoxia condition with a constant CO2 level (5%) to maintain cell culture medium under a physiological PH condition. B. Must be a benchtop IR-CO2 model C. Includes temperature and IR CO2 controls D. Moist heat decontamination cycle E. 5 degree C above ambient to 60 degree C F. Elevated humidity to 95% RH G. Suppressed O2 from 21.0% down to 1.0% H. 115V, 50/60 Hz. 4. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations. A. FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies. Brand Name is Caron Benchtop IR-CO2 Incubator model 6404-1. If an equal name is offered, include with the quote technical document which provides specifications. B. FOB: DESTINATION 5.
