- Row/Plotseed Planter Specifications THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY and a SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Western Business Service Center (WBSC) is seeking a SMALL BUSINESS contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for a PLOTSEED PLANTER at the USDA, ARS, Maricopa Arizona facility, in accordance with the attached planter specifications. The Western Business Service Center (WBSC) is issuing this sources sought request as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide the supervision, labor, materials, plant, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide the aforementioned equipment for the USDA, Agricultural Research Service. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources available from which to receive competitive quotes. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this procurement is 333111. Submission Instructions: Interested parties, who consider themselves qualified to provide the equipment as detailed are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 PM (CT) September 17, 2015. If your organization has appropriate qualifications and capacity to provide this service, please provide the following information: (1) A complete and current record of your GSA Contract Number (if applicable), including DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, small business type (if any), etc; (2) A list of previous customers (Federal Preferred) which were provided products similar in nature (3) A complete description of all assets/experience/personnel which will contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill the requirement as described in the Specification Document.
