- The Government received the following two questions regarding the subject solicitation. Paragraph 3.3.2.1: Would supplying four 3' cables be acceptable for this section instead of supplying two 2' cables and two 3' cables? Paragraph 3.16.12 Can this requirement be modified to include to USB hard drives? The Government's response to these questions are as follows: Paragraph 3.3.2.1: Answer: Not acceptable. We need cables in different lengths to provide as much flexibility as possible for technicians who will connect various devices. Paragraph 3.16.12 Answer: No. the USB hard drive would not work due to encryption scheme that an external hard drive is subject to when used in the Navy. Only CD/DVD drive is allowed.
