- Davis Bacon Wage Rates Scope of Work Vendor Pre-Bid Packet This is a Subcontracting Opportunity with Woodland Job Corps Center / Adams & Associates Inc. and not with the U.S. Department of Labor. Owner: US Department of Labor (DOL) Center Operator: Adams and Associates, Inc. Mailing Address: Woodland Job Corps Center 3300 Fort Meade Road Laurel, MD 20724 Site Visit: [September 15, 2015] @10:00am Proposal Due Date: [September 22, 2015] @1:00pm Submission of Proposals: Woodland Job Corps Center Attn: Stacey Treasure Purchasing Treasure.stacey@jobcorps.org Fax: 301.362.4493 The only Bids that will be considered will be from vendors who attend the mandatory bid conference on the day and time specified above. Project Summary: The scope of work shall include but not limited to; Remove the three trees along the Southeast face of the building and relocate the three trees in a new location designated by the Woodland Job Corps Center. Remove approximately 20x20xft. Of sod and topsoil. Excavate approximately 20x20ft. to expose the electrical conduits penetrating the basement wall. Determine the scope of work required for the repair of leaks at the conduit penetration. Contractor to engage Miss Utility to locate all underground utilities in the area of investigation before any digging. Contractor shall coordinate the work with Woodland Job Corps Center. Contractor shall follow OSHA standard for trenching, 29 CFR 1926.650, and 652 during all work. Although this scope of work may identify specific elements of the investigation, it is the contractor's responsibility to provide any and all elements of the investigation in order to provide a full report of finding.
