- See amendment description. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation response date to 5:00 PM EDT, Friday, September 11, 2015, as well as to provide a revised statement of work (SOW) via "Att. 1 - EPSSM SOW (v7)." The following sentence is deleted in the SOW under Section B.2: The malfunctioning component or unit shall be repaired within 24 hours of notification from SSA or on the next business day. The following sentences are added in the SOW under Section B.2: The Contractor shall troubleshoot a malfunctioning component or unit within 24 hours of notification from SSA (or on the next business day), either by phone or on-site depending on the nature and severity of the issue. Note: The Government anticipates no more than 12 troubleshooting related requests per year (of varying size and complexity) in which repairs may be required. Contracting professionals are tasked with identifying savings wherever possible. As such, SSA requests any additional savings or discounts that may be applied to this requirement. Offerors are similarly encouraged to put forth their best and final pricing.
