- SF-30. Contract Officer, phone number, email address, and address changed. The US Forest Service on the National Forests of North Carolina, Uwharrie National Forest, has a requirement for trail construction and trail maintenance on the Keyauwee, Supertree, and Wood Run Trails. Work includes but is not limited to, brushing, logging out, drainage construction, trail construction, and trail maintenance. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A bid guarantee is not required. A Payment Bond will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 17 August 2015. A site visit is scheduled at 11:00 AM EST on 1 Sep 2015 at the trailhead at the junction between North Carolina Highway 24/27 and National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 517. To get to the trailhead from Albemarle, NC, take NC HWY 24/27 east 9.5 miles. NFSR 517 is on the left and all trails are accessed using NFSR 517. The solicitation is posted. Amendment 1 - correction to County and Ranger District. Amendment 2 - Contract Officer (phone, email, and address) change.
