Description
This is a sole source synopsis notice for commercial services as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302 -1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Regional Contracting Center-East (RCC-E), Expeditionary Contracting Command-Afghanistan (ECC-A) has a requirement for Information Management in support of USFOR-A Civil Military Operations (CMO) and activities at New Kabul Compound and other Forward Operating Bases (FOBs). The contractor will be responsible for the day-to- day management of USFOR-A Commanders Emergency Response Program (CERP) Information Management (IM). This includes entering into and managing reports in the Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE) system, coordinating meetings and briefings, and managing IM projects. The responsibilities include limited liaison with the interagency and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA).
