- Sources Sought Notice with Pictures The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) is seeking sources to provide the particular filters listed below that attach to a vacuum pump and used as a sterility function when processing serum from large animals. Companies interested in competing for this requirement must submit a statement of capabilities detailing their ability to meet the below requirements (i.e. able to supply both types of filters with the estimated quantity needed, etc.), and if providing a technical equivalent, demonstrating that capability. Responses to the announcement will be used to determine acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition). This announcement does not commit the Government to award of a contract. No contract award may be made based on the responses as this sources sought notice is for informational purposes only. We are looking for the products below or its technical equivalents: 1. 52083 - PALL Supor DCF Sterile Filter (0.2 micron) 25 filters per box. P/N: CFS92SSCCL. Estimated number of boxes need per year: 6 2. 52084 - Preflow DCF Prefilter (0.5 micron) 3 filters per box. P/N: CSG95NGCCK. Estimated number of boxes need per year: 6 The Government intends to issue a 5-year Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract. Please send a statement to: leah.h.schultz@aphis.usda.gov by 4:00 PM CT on September 17, 2015 if you are able to provide the products named above, or their equivalents with supporting capability information.
