- The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of The U.S. Army Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, intends to issue Request For Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-15-R-0030 for the production of 9mm M917A1 Dummy, Drilled, and Inert (DDI) cartridges, DODIC: AB45, NSN: 1305-01-568-5691. This acquisition will use Full and Open competition and award using Low Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Procedures, resulting in a single award Firm Fixed Price contract. The Base contract will award a quantity of 250,000 cartridges with the option to order up to 650,000 additional quantities. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
