- Statement of Work Health Equity Summit Region VII Federal Acquisition Regulations for Health Equity Summit Request for Quote Health Equity Summit The DHHS/Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) Office of Minority Health (OMH) Region VII (MO, IA, NE, KC), intends to award, without discussion, to a small, 8(a), minority-owned business on a sole source basis. Work will be conducted from within Region VII. Among qualified offerors, award is to be made on a Level of Effort basis. The purpose of this contract is to purchase a 12-month contracting service which shall provide technical assistance / expertise to assist with the convening of the Men's Health Equity Summit in Region VII to address key public health concerns for all men with a specific focus on health outcomes for racial and ethnic minority men. The OASH requires the contractor to work with the Region VII Minority Health Consultant on a draft agenda to address and raise awareness about key public health concerns for racial and ethnic minority men. The contractor shall develop a communication and outreach plan for the Health Equity Summit to engage men's groups, faith and community-based groups and community-at-large groups from diverse racial and ethnic communities. The contractor shall furnish all of the things necessary for or incident to the performance of the work as stated in the Statement of Work.
