- Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist for the 87 Security Forces Squadron at JB MDL, NJ in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Period of performance is from 1 Oct 2015 through 30 Sep 2015 with four one-year options. A firm fixed unit price contract is contemplated and will be based upon the availability of funds. This acquisition is a total set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621330 and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov on or about 8 Sep 2015. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the FBO web page frequently for updates/amendments to the solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quotation must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code). All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management ( www.sam.gov ). The Clinical Psychologist will be providing pre-hire psychological exams for police officers seeking employment. The potential c ontractor shall be a qualified and experienced psychologist who holds a doctorate degree in the field of psychology from an accredited institution and possess a current license to practice clinical psychology in New Jersey. The Contractor must possess experience in administering and scoring psychological tests, a minimum of four years' experience in conducting psychological and psychiatric assessments of individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds in the criminal justice system, and experience facilitating and/or overseeing the facilitation of group therapy with individuals living with mental illness, substance dependence, and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Candidates for this contract should have excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, as well as thorough grounding in the use of standardized psychological testing and the provision of direct clinical services. This is a synopsis and does not obligate the government to award; the government reserves the right to withdraw the synopsis and any forthcoming solicitation without due compensation to potential offerors. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Quote. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular.
