- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) with intent to award a firm-fixed price 100% Small Business set-aside contract for Tree Rescue Refresher Training for the Directorate of Emergency Services - Fire and Emergency Services (DES-FES), Fort Polk, LA. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Tree Rescue Refresher Training. The contractor must be a licensed, accredited and certified Arborist and must have documented Tree Rescue experience. Further, the contractor must be able to provide documentation of such rescues as well as a resume to support their experience, training and continuing education. These documents must be submitted as part of the proposal. The applicable NAICS code is 611430. Solicitation will be issued on or about 04 September 2015 with proposal due date on or about 14 September 2015. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available for view and download at ASFI and through FedBizOpps as no paper copies will be issued. Electronic mail quotes are acceptable. Faxes are not authorized. Interested parties should review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code) and ensure they are registered in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract. FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures will be used for this procurement. POC for this action is Penny F.
