- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Vendors must quote all items to be considered for award. FOB Destination WILL ACCEPT BRAND NAME EQUAL OR BETTER SUPPLY of a Virtual Mission Board manufactured by Boeing. If the offeror is offering a Brand name or equal supply then FAR provision 52.211-6 applies. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Brand name equal products must, at a minimum, meet or exceed all of the following salient characteristics: 1)Multi-touch interface provides intuitive navigation of terrain model 2)Apply graphics to terrain 3)Identify location and distance via touch 4)Multiple navigation modes: fly through, walk through and drag 5)Synchronized display of integrated live, virtual and constructive environments 6)Training Center quality After Action Review at home station 7) Self-contained System 8) Adaptable for secure environments 9) External projection capability 10) Operating modes include: mission planning, rehearsal, execution, after action review FAR 52.211-6 applies
