- SPAWAR is acquiring Capacity as a Service (CaaS). CaaS is defined as an agile, on- demand, on-premise computing, networking, and storage solution for a variety of systems and applications for our Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) core infrastructures, laboratory and data center environments. The Contractor shall provide CaaS on specified Government premises providing the equipment for the compute, network, and storage in support of our RDT&E networks and data centers at SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT), and SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC).
