- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to Advanced Technology and Research (ATR) in support of the Electromagnetic (EM) Silencing Program for a period of performance of one month pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Services include program management support, magnetic silencing facilities (MSF) upgrade support, technical data analysis, software and hardware development, and EM engineering support. The set-aside for small business concerns has been dissolved. The NAICS code is 541330. The proposed contract action is being solicited on a sole-source basis to ATR. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Potential sources may submit their interest in this requirement with their capability statements no later than 17 September 2015. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not a competitive procurement will be conducted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
