- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to modify the current contract NRC-HQ-40-14-C-0010, on a sole source basis to Pegasus Radio Corp/Federal Radio, 1202 Technology Drive Suite C, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001 for to is to purchase equipment and upgrade existing equipment needed for the NRC's portable two-way radio emergency communications system and to include all NRC occupied buildings into the system. The period of performance for the current contract started on 07/01/2014 and is set to expire on 06/30/2019. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
