PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP 2 DREDGING POOL. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of dredging shoal material from the Alafia River Channel and disposal of material into DMMA 3-D which is located south of Alafia River Channel. The project depth for Alafia River is 32 feet with 1 foot of advanced maintenance from Station 0+00 to Station 156+00 generating a dredging depth of 33 feet plus 1 foot of allowable over depth for this location and 2 feet of advanced maintenance from 156+00 to Station 181+13.22 including the turning basin generating a dredging depth of 34 feet plus 1 foot of allowable over depth for this location. Site Dewatering shall take place at DMMA-3D during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 have been met. Work also includes endangered species observers, manatee observers (clamshell), turbidity monitoring, bird monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and relocation (hoppers), and operation and maintenance of DMMA 3-D at the direction of the Contracting Officer. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 28 September 2015 and proposals will be due on or about 29 September 2015. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance under Group 2 DREDGING POOL.
