- Solicitation attached. Packaging attachment The purpose of this announcement is to advertise that Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land & Maritime is soliciting for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for National Stock Number (NSN) 2530-01-568-4462. The base year of the contract is a three year period. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus possible two 1-year option periods) shall not exceed (5) years. This item is code and part number and being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. This acquisition is for a supply for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only the approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2301(c) (1). Approved sources for (NSN) 2530-01-568-4462 are AM General, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) 34623, Wilwood Engineering (CAGE) 04XS7, and American Friction Technologies (CAGE) 4C2Q4. The solicitation will be available on August 28th, 2015 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. This solicitation contains DLAD provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The North American Industry Classification System for this procurement is 336340 and number of employees is 750. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and proposed delivery and other evaluation factors (as applicable) as described in the solicitation.
