- The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOA, 308 W. D Ave Bldg 260, Eglin AFB FL 32542., intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a Vindicator Intrusion Detection System under the authority of FAR 13.106(1)(b) to Vindicator Technologies Inc., 3019 Alvin Devane Blvd Bldg. 4 St 130. Austin, TX 78741. Anticipated award amount is $61,275. Anticipated award date is 7 September 2015. Vindicator Intrusion Detection Systems purchased through Vindicator Technologies Inc. are the only known suitable replacement for the previous system by Monaco IDS. USAF is no longer supporting Monaco IDS with service or parts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334290, small business size standard: 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 5 calendar days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
