- Description
- The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Ameritex Elevator Services 12050 Crownpoint Drive, Suite 140, San Antonio, Texas 78233 for the purchase and installation of an outdoor elevator. Ameritex Elevator services is the current contract holder for the service and maintenance of vertical transportation equipment (VTE) throughout Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). They are responsbile for guaranteeing, servicing, manitaining and certifying the VTEs. Building 2200, the Main Post Chapel on Fort Sam Houston, falls within their area of responsibility. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authroity of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Awarding to Ameritex would allow for continuity of repairs and services as well as prevent a duplication of work. Amertiex will be responsible for servcing and maintaining this elevator under their current contract, after the work has been completed. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. However, all quotes received by 02 September 2015, 10:30 am CST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the below points of contact.
