- Synopsis A sole source procurement is contemplated with Meggitt Training Systems, Inc. (MTSI), 296 Brogdon Road, Suwanee, GA 30024-1247. The Government anticipates a procurement of the following items for Yakima Training Center (YTC), WA: Noun: Stationary Infantry Targets (SIT) Quantity: 50 ea Option: N/A Noun: Stationary Armor Targets (SAT) Quantity: 105 ea Option: N/A Noun: Moving Armor Targets (MAT) Quantity: 7 ea Option: N/A Noun: Hand Held Controllers (HHC) Quantity: 5 ea Option: N/A YTC has a requirement to upgrade Radio Frequency (RF) targetry devices at existing ranges by providing new RF targetry devices that interface with the existing RF targetry devices. MTSI is the owner of the technical data for the communication protocols of the existing targetry devices at YTC and is the only known qualified source able to perform this effort. The estimated value of this action is $2.6M. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contract Specialist, Michael Gross, at michael.e.gross28.civ@mail.mil, which shall be considered by the agency.
