Description

In accordance with FAR 13.501(a), the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Respondus under NAICS: 511210. Respondus is the sole distributor of the Respondus Lockdown Browser Campus-Wide License. It is the only lockdown browser that operates directly within DoDEA's Schoology Learning Mangagement System (LMS) as a native application integration, allowing educators to seamlessly deliver course assessments using Schoology's existing assessment engine. No other lockdown browser on the market has this capability. This special notice is not a request for proposals. Interested parties that feel they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. Responses are to be submitted by email to Mr. Iain Sherry: Iain.Sherry@hq.dodea.edu Documentation should be received within 5 business days after the publication date of this synopsis in order to be considered by the DoDEA. A determination by the DoDEA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
