- NOTICE TO OFFERORS FOLLOWING VENDORS' INQUIRIES, THE FOLLOWING IS PROVIDED FOR CLARIFICATION: 1. Technical Specifications, work items 5.9 and 5.14. Steel clips (fermagli) shall have the same diameter of the tension wires (4 mm). 2. Technical Specifications, work item 5.15. Fence painting can be performed either before or after installation (normally after). Performance period takes average number of rainy days into account. Paints do not need to be processed through the Base Pharmacy. 3. Technical Specifications, work items 5.16 and 5.17. The specifications for the grounding wire are included in paragraph 3.5 Grounding of the attachment "Section 02831 Chain Link Fence". Grounding pits will be 50x50cm with cast iron cover class C250. Line posts, anchors and pull posts shall be hot rolled (not welded) with 5 mm thickness minimum. Existing Y outriggers along North/North West of Sierra Loop shall be adapted to new anchor/pull post dia. 100 mm. 4. Technical Specifications, work item 5.20. Color of the new and existing posts will be as existing (green). One coat is required. Paints do not need to be processed through the Base Pharmacy. 5. Technical Specifications, work item 5.32. Trench excavation quantity indicated is referred to electrical cable duct described in work item 5.35 and pre-fabricated concrete plinth described in work item 5.38. 6. Technical Specifications, work item 5.35. Lean concrete does not need to be poured underneath the "PEHD" pipe dia. 110 mm. 7. Technical Specifications, work item 5.36. Electrical manholes, having dimensions 100x100x100 cm with cast iron cover class D400, shall be installed every 25 mt, from each substation until the first pre-fabricated concrete plinth.
