- SYNOPSIS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. This solicitation number AG-7442-S-15-0018 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 333111; the size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. DESCRIPTION. The USDA NRCS South Texas Plant Material Center (STPMC), Kingsville, Texas has a requirement for a Disc Bedder, 4 row, 36' center USDA NRCS STPMC is seeking to replace an existing unserviceable disc bedder, the new bedder must have a 7 ft frame of 4" by 4" steel tubing and need to include 4 clamps, 4 - 30" shanks, 4 foot pieces and 4 heavy duty double disc (18" & 20"). The disc bedder will be delivered/shipped to E. Kika de la Garza Plant Materials Center, located at 3409 N FM 1355, Kingsville, Texas 78363-2704. Please include all freight costs in your quote or state that freight is included in the total amount of your quote.
