- This pre-solicitation notice is for Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services of the Managed Automated Security Control (MASC) access control system. This service is required by US Army South, Force Protection, under administrative command of US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This procurement is for a commercial service. The applicable NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services (Except Locksmiths), with a small business size standard of $20.5M. This requirement will be solicited as a competitive, 100% set-aside for Small Business. Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall provide non-personal services to include, personnel, materials, equipment, supplies and facilities in accordance with paragraph 5 Specific Tasks necessary to: 1) Perform Quarterly Preventive maintenance checks and services of access control electronic security system hardware, devices and components, OSSI MAC/4R circuit board panels, Altronix power supply, electronic strike locking devices, electronic motion sensor devices, electronic magnetic lock, biometric readers w/number key pad, computer hardware and Intelli-Site Software (ISSO) security applications and conduit as required; 2) Conduct Physical Inspection of Equipment; 3) Provide Technical Telephonic Support ; and 48 Hour emergency repair services; 4) Provide Emergency Repair Services on the MASC; and 5) Provide Repair Parts needed to make repairs to the MASC. Place of Performance: Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Period of Performance: Period of performance for the resulting contract will be a base period of one-year plus four (4) one-year option periods. Contract Type: The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. Contractor Requirements: Potential offerors must have active registrations in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in order to participate in this requirement and be eligible for award. To obtain the Solicitation: The solicitation and any amendments, if applicable, will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. It is anticipated that the official Request for Quote (RFQ) for this procurement will be released on or about 31 July 2015. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation.
