- Source Selection Process Interest Form The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is pleased to offer Contractors the opportunity to gain insight into the NAVAIR Source Selection process for major procurements. A representative from the NAVAIR Source Selection Office, Center of Excellence will present the NAVAIR source selection process to Industry in the October/November 2015 timeframe. NAVAIR will welcome a reciprocal presentation regarding your company's Business Development/Proposal Development Process. The goal of this out-reach is to promote a common understanding of each of our processes. That understanding may be used to better align the NAVAIR processes to common industry processes and ultimately improve communications between NAVAIR and industry. A common understanding should allow Contractors to provide better and more responsive proposals, enabling NAVAIR to perform evaluations and make the best value selection in less time. No specific source selection opportunities will be discussed. Space is limited; therefore admittance to the presentation will be granted on "first come first served" basis. Each company will be allowed three people, but NAVAIR may allow more than three attendees if space is available. Interested Contractors should complete the NAVAIR Source Selection Presentation Interest Form and return the completed form to Ms. Linda Carrico at linda.carrico@navy.mil and Ms. Christine Hill at christine.hill@navy.mil by 31 August 2015.
