- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement Contract N00019-12-G-0006 with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an ‘other than full and open' competitive basis to address software improvements to the V-22 Aircraft. The requirement will address Software improvements to resolve Joint Deficiency Reports (JDR) discovered during operational testing of Tactical System Software (TSS) 10.4.01 and 20.2.01. The requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Bell-Boeing is the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the V-22 aircraft. As such, Bell-Boeing is the only responsible source with the necessary access to the technical data and requisite expertise to perform the contemplated effort with the required schedule.
