Description
RSC Therapeutic Relationship Group Support services are designed to assist participants in understanding how there interactions with others and the messages received from others have shaped their self-concept. The therapeutic sessions shall focus on helping participants to: RSC Therapeutic Relationship Group Support services are designed to assist participants in understanding how there interactions with others and the messages received from others have shaped their self-concept. The therapeutic sessions shall focus on helping participants to: Identify unhealthy relationships and co-dependent behaviors Grieve and reconcile loss, and Create supportive and mutually satisfying relationships. The Government anticipates scheduling up to 364 therapeutic relationship group sessions per year and reserves the right to modify group topics and the frequency of their delivery, in accordance with its needs. 2.4.1 Technical Requirements - Relationship Group Services 2.4.1.1 To effectively address re-entry barriers that are common to all RSC participants, the Contractor shall facilitate relationship groups that help participants understand how interactions with others and the messages received from others have shaped their self-concept. The Government's estimated need for relationship group services is approximately eight (8) hours per week. Each group session will include no more than 18 participants. 2.4.1.2 The Contractor shall ensure that each group session has a clearly defined topic, objectives and goals that are designed to assist residents in identifying his/her barriers to successful reintegration and equip residents with strategies for approaching and overcoming such barriers. Examples of common barriers include anger management, denial, relapse prevention, impulsivity, lack of pro-social relationships, grief and loss, etc. The Government reserves the right to modify group topics, in accordance with the needs of the RSC. 2.4.1.3 The Contractor shall provide services in accordance with a schedule devised by the Government and shall ensure that all summary reports are completed and submitted in accordance with the requirements contained herein. The Contractor shall provide services on-site at the RSC and shall be available to provide services during the hours of 9:00am - 9:00pm, seven days per week, as needed or as agreed upon by the Government. 2.4.1.4 In the performance of duties under this contract, the Contractor is responsible for maintaining standards of safety and exposure control in the delivery of group intervention services. 2.4.1.5. A break-out of the Government's group intervention services estimated need is provided below: Group Topic Number of RSC Units Length (Minutes) Frequency Estimated Total Session per/hr./week Therapeutic Relationship Groups 6 60 1 session per week 6 Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Presentation/Consultation 6 20 Once per week 2 Total per Week 8 Each group session will include no more than 18 participants. The group length shall be 60 minutes in duration and shall be conducted in accordance with the schedule provided by the Government. 2.4.1.6 During the 60 minute group session, the Contractor shall conduct the requested therapeutic relationship group services and must enter the completed progress notes in the Government's case management system (i.e., the RSC's Supervision & Management Automated Record Tracking System (SMART) Module) no later than one (1) business day following the delivery of the group intervention services.
