Description

FBO SPECIAL NOTICE SOLICITATION NOTICE #REQ21074SLM The USDA National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, IA, intends to award a procurement for preventive maintenance for 3 Whitley Workstation MG500s and 1 D23 Autoclave, including 2 service visits for the MG500s and calibration for the D23 autoclave. This equipment was manufactured by K & R Technologies, LLC therefore all service will be completed by vendor. Procurement of these units will be conducted in accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 13.106 and 6.302-1. No alternative source has been identified able to provide service for these pieces of equipment. The cost has been determined fair and reasonable based on current technical knowledge of fair market value. The net purchase order value is $31,342.00. This is not a request for quotation. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Specialist listed below. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can service the required unit. Responses must be submitted electronically, via email, to sara.l.matchie@aphis.usda.gov. The deadline for the submittal of responses is 11:00 am CST, August 5, 2015.
