- This pre-solicitation notice is posted to publicize the Government's intent to issue a Firm Fixed Price service contract to an 8(a) small business who exhibits the required technical capabilities, prior experience, and price to perform renovations to Building 511 at the Blossom Point Research Facility (BPRF). Description of work: The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) of the United States Army Garrison (USAG) at the Adelphi Laboratory Center seeks sources to provide renovation services to Building 511 at BPRF to include demolition, the replacement of bathroom flooring, kitchenette relocation, mechanical room expansion, light emitting diode (LED) fixture installation, window replacement, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) grille replacement, and conference room, office, and storage room relocation. Building 511 is a Range Support Operations building approximately 2,600 square feet in size and constructed in 1996. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Offerors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to submission of proposals. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov, and is available to contractors without charge. The DPW of the USAG at the ALC will host an Industry Day on 6 August, 0900-1030 hrs, at 15000 Blossom Point Road, Welcome, Maryland 20693, to present an overview of the requirement and field initial questions from vendors.
