- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The US Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. Hereinafter referred to as the (SFVAHCS) located at 2501 West 22nd St., Sioux Falls, SD. 57105-0401 the NACIS code assigned to this procurement will be 621511 with a size standard of 32.5 Million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to the Sioux Falls, Veteran Affairs Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12 month, base year with four (4) option years. Service will begin on September 01, 2015 through August 31, 2016 for the base year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about July 29, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOps Electronic Posting system at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) requires contractual services of ASAP and STAT diagnostic laboratory testing services. To eligible beneficiaries of the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS), Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service at the Sioux Falls (SFVAHCS) requires the services of a contractor to provide specialized STAT and ASAP diagnostic testing needs that are not provided by the Sioux Falls VAMC. The scope of services required by the contractor includes consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation and result interpretation shall also be provided when required. The contractor must provide the following services: "Transportation of the specimens to include: "Lab test request forms (it is possible that the vendor may need to customize forms to include information required by the VA). "Special instructions for handling specimen "Analyze specimen "Monthly billing for tests provided each month "Consult with VA Laboratory on test results by telephone as needed " Provide Va Laboratory with the means of communication to permit immediate inquiry regarding the status of pending tests. "Fax or electronically report results. "Provide copies of the CAP or equivalent accreditation that the contractor subscribes Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing.
