- Solicitation: AG-4670-S-15-0126 Attachment 4 - Experience Questionnaire Attachment 3 - Wage Determination Attachment 2 - Specs and Drawings Attachment 1 - Schedule of Items NOTE: HUBZone Small Business interest only. The US Forest Service on the National Forests of North Carolina, Nantahala Ranger District, has a requirement for campground improvements on the Tuckasegee for HUBZone Small Businesses only. Work involves adding fire rings and lantern posts furnished by the Forest Service. The sites will be leveled with 2-4% grade and have a treated timber border (8X8) with the bottom layer buried 4". The banks will be cut and seeded, lantern posts installed, and chat stone shall be placed 2" thick. Project is located in Macon County, North Carolina. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A bid guarantee is not required. Payment bond will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 27 July 2015. A site visit will be held on 6 August 2015 at 1000 AM EST. The location of the site visit will be the US Forest Service Nantahala Ranger District. Directions to the Ranger District are as follows: From Asheville to Franklin, take I-40 to Exit 27 and get on US-74 towards Franklin. Approximately 26 miles, turn right onto US-23 South ramp to Franklin for approximately 20.3 miles. Turn onto US-64 and approximately 0.9 miles, turn right onto Sloan Road. The solicitation has been posted.
