- PROJECT TITLE: Signal Processor Interface Panel LOCATION OF WORK: Vendor's facility. Supplies to be delivered to: Radar Operations Center 1313 Halley Circle Norman, OK 73069 NAICS CODE: 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500 employees. SET-ASIDE STATUS: Small Business DESCRIPTION: The National Weather Service recently embarked upon a Receiver/Signal Processor upgrade that is scheduled for deployment beginning in June 2016. As part of this upgrade the National Weather Service (NWS) removed several obsolete design elements and replaced their functionality through the development of a new component known as the WSR-88D Signal Processor Interface Panel (SPIP). NOAA requires the following units; CLIN 00012EA Signal Processor Interface Panels - First Article CLIN 1001220EA Signal Processor Interface Panels - Full Production CLIN 10025EA SPIP Mezzanine Printed Circuit - Optional Item CLIN 100310EA SPIP Connector Interface Printed Circuit Boards - Optional Item DELIVERY SCHEDULE: CLIN 0001 shall be delivered 90 days after receipt of order. CLIN 1001 will be delivered in several production lots as they complete the manufacturing process. In order to maintain the project deployment schedule, the Government shall receive 12 units prior to April 1, 2016. The balance of delivery under CLIN 1001 shall be delivered prior to August 1, 2016. CLINS 1002 and 1003 delivery is negotiable and will be established prior to award. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price supply contract. TENTATIVE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: July 30, 2015 TENTATIVE PROPOSAL DUE DATE: August 20, 2015 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: September 10, 2015 CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION: To be eligible for award, a contractor must (1) be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
