UPDATE 07/13/2015: AMENDMENT 002 POSTED TO INCLUDE SITE VISIT INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESS TO FACILITY. UPDATE 07/01/2015: AMENDMENT 001 POSTED TO INCLUDE DRAWINGS. The U. S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement to procure construction services for the Building Roof and Air Cooled Refrigerant Condenser (HVAC) system replacement project at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO)/National Hurricane Center (NHC) located in Miami, FL. The Government anticipates that the solicitation will result in a contract award. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of the existing roof system and install a new Poly-Vinyl Chloride (PVC) system, as specified in the manufacturers approved installation guidelines and in accordance with the Government specifications. Additional work includes, the removal and installation of a new air cooled refrigerant condenser system at the facility. The roof in total is approximately 27,000 square feet in size, consisting of 9 separate and distinctive roof systems. The Contractor will replace the existing tar and gravel roof with a new PVC roofing system. Roofing Product must be an approved product that qualifies with Florida Power and Light (FPL) Roof Savings Program. NAICS code is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The size standard is $15.0M. Estimated Construction cost is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The completion time is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
