- SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: This is a Sources Sought request for information to be used for market research purposes, only. The Government is conducting market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking responses from all businesses capable of performing the required services. Responses to this announcement are not considered quotes or offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement. Participation is strictly voluntary. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE or PROPOSAL. Mission Installation Contracting Command Fort Irwin (MICC-Fort Irwin), California is seeking business capable of performing Corrosion Prevention and Control and vehicle Painting at the Government site. MICC-Fort Irwin intends to award a base contract with two (2) one year options, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) as a small business set-aside for Corrosion Prevention and Control, Mobile Corrosion Rehabilitation Facility at Fort Irwin. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 811121. The posting date for this Sources Sought is July 28, 2015 and the closing date for responses is 2 PM PST on August 3, 2015.
