- In an effort to collaborate and engage with stakeholders early to help improve and aid in the development of TSA's information technology (IT) security requirements for Transportation Security Equipment (TSE), the TSA is presenting a DRAFT copy of the TSA Information Assurance (IA) Requirements for TSA Government Acquisitions. It is anticipated that these requirements will be included in all future contracts associated with the qualification/procurement of new TSE and the sustainment of TSE deployed to the field. Therefore, TSA is looking to ensure these requirements are clearly defined and executable. The TSA is also looking for industry's considerations on the most efficient and effective way to execute these requirements. In addition, the TSA intends to host an industry engagement event to review the requirements and answer Industry's questions/comments on the document. Organizations within the security technology market such as equipment manufacturers and small businesses within this market are encouraged to attend. The Industry Day will be held on Friday, July 24 from 8:30 am - 3:30pm at the Transportation Security Integration Facility (TSIF). Please find all of the instructions to register for the Industry Day and submitting questions prior to Industry Day in the attachment, TSA_OSCIT_IndustryDay_2015 - Instructions and RFI. Attendees must RSVP via email to Ms. Novia Harrington (Novia.Harrington@tsa.dhs.gov) and Ms. Robyn Peters (Robyn.Peters@tsa.dhs.gov) no later than July 16, 2015 at 2:00pm Eastern Time. Written Clarification Questions/Comments shall be submitted no later than July 16, 2015 at 2:00pm Eastern Time to Ms. Novia Harrington (Novia.Harrington@tsa.dhs.gov) and Ms. Robyn Peters (Robyn.Peters@tsa.dhs.gov).
