- Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition The United States Government intends to award a lease extension using other than full and open competition for the Transportation Security Administration that is expiring in Chicago, IL. The Government requires 32,000 rentable square feet of office space and two hundred parking spaces. The office space must be located on the O'Hare International Airport, be contiguous, and all services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations must be included as part of the rental consideration. The proposal under consideration is to proceed with a Ten year lease with five year firm. The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. All offers should be aware that the Government will consider the cost of moving, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Building Name and Address, Rentable and Usable Square Footage, Fully Serviced Rental rate and Common Area Factor and Building Floor plans. SAM Requirement - Lessor/company must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) before an award can be made. If the lessor/company is not currently registered in SAM, they may do so by going to the SAM web site at https://www.sam.gov/. SUBMIT BY COB (5:00 pm) August 14, 2015 Submissions by other than the owner of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.
