Description

FLC Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office, CT intends to acquire services from NVIS, Inc, for the repair of four Head Mounted Display (HDM) units used in the Conning Officer Virtual Environmental (COVE) trainer, in support of the Surface Warfare Officer School (SWOS) located at Naval Station Newport, RI. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(1), only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated award date is 20 July 2015; this notice is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
