- PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to perform a complete code compliant combination fire alarm and carbon monoxide detectors for Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, Oyster Bay, NY. The specification will require a performance based installation of the systems based on current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and manufacture requirements. The system shall meet fire protection requirements and shall transmit associated signals to local monitoring station (Park designated) and provide paging information to responding personnel as required. The NAICS code for this project is 561621, Installation of Alarm and Signal Systems (except Locksmiths), and the small business size standard is $20.5 million. Sites will be available for work between August 01, 2015 through September 03, 2015. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this project is: Less than $25,000.. This procurement is Request for Quote and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. In addition, this procurement is offered as 100% Set-aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, and Women-Owned Small Business enterprizes.
