- The purpose of this amendment is to add the site visit information. SITE VISIT: Site visit is scheduled for JULY 17, 2015 AT 12:00 PM. Interested parties should follow the directions at http://www.nps.gov/this/planyourvisit/directions.htm. Please notify Daniel Jackson of your intention to attend the site visit by Close of Business 7/16/2015. However, due to the fact that the site is not access restricted contractors that do not notify of their intention will still be able to attend. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, National Capital Region, Eastern Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation for: work necessary to furnish and install cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) at the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial on Theodore Roosevelet Island, George Washington Memorial Parkway, Washington, DC on or about July 14, 2015. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 40219010. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform cleaning and television inspection of drain pipes to be lined, final installation, reconnection of lateral connections, and final television inspection and testing of lined pipe system. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW), specifications, and drawings will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237110. The small business standard is $36.5 M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(b) the Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. SITE VISIT: Site visit is scheduled for JULY 17, 2015 AT 12:00 PM. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the end of August or early September 2015. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Washington, DC will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about July 14, 2015 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all documents will be posted at this website for download. Offers will be due 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
