Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to provide Elevator Maintenance Services for the FAA ARTCC, Salt Lake City, Utah. Services are to commence on October 1, 2015 and continue thru September 30, 2016 for the base year and four years after that. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and supervision to provide elevator maintenance services in accordance with the statement of work. THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN SET-ASIDE FOR TIERED EVUALUATION AMOUNG QUALIFIED BUSINESSES ONLY FOR NAICS CODE 811310. Tier preference is 8(a) set-aside, then small business set-aside and lastly other than small business set-aside. The purpose of this web posting is to solicit offers for the project. Full project details are available for download from this website, including the Request for Offer (RFO)--which contains contract clauses and requirements for submitting Quote. The procurement value for the subject project is estimated to be between $20,000 and $50,000 for five years. The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 811310. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
